More of Angers

Vicki already posted a quick synopsis of Anger's highlights, but here is a shot from the steps leading down from the Cathedrale Saint-Maurice d'Angers.




There is no way I can capture the immensity of the Chateau, but this is a start. That sculpted garden is in the moat area of the chateau.




Perhaps not of interest to all, but the garden atop the rampart had some gorgeous flowers.
















Finally, I love the doors of France. There are so many different ones, and some are works of art. Here are a few from the trip so far:
































Vicki: The most important place in Angers, which we don't have captured in a photo, is the pistachio soft-serve ice cream machine. Can you imagine??? WHY does America think it's the greatest country on earth when we don't even have pistachio soft-serve ice cream machines in every city?
