Just chewin' the cud

It's lunchtime for les vaches... They are just lying down, chewing their cud (I guess... At least that's what Teresa says they are doing when they are chillin' in the field like this).




Dan and I both had a weird jet-lag night... awoke at 3 AM, read until around 5:30 or 6, and then I headed back to sleepyland. Dan, on the other hand, has been up - but is taking a short nap (like the cows) before he chews *his* cud.

We went to the open-air market in Chemille this morning; I'm betting that Dan will have photos to post later. We also went to the supermarket to get important supplies: Kriek, Cidre from Normandy, and Pernod.
